PROJECT CHOICE PROCESS - Overview
|
Step 1: Request for Internet Consultation
Dealers initiate the Project Choice service by either calling 1-866-765-5582 and engaging a trained consultant
or by clicking here.
Step 2: Submission of Quote Request
The initial quote request information is gathered in two parts:
· The full address and phone of the site to receive the service
· Specific data that will help determine the service types and capacity required
Step 3: Delivery of Service Availability Report
Project Choice works with all regional and national carriers serving that area to provide the
location with a comprehensive solutions report. All quotes are delivered within two business
days by trained consultants via e-mail or fax in a simple to understand "Connectivity Report"
cover sheet, which details all of the options for the specific Dealer.
Step 4: To Place an Order
Complete, sign and fax the Connectivity Report to (248) 668-9751.
Step 5: Installation and Service Monitoring
The installation of service is monitored and tracked through a central site by the carriers
and program headquarters. Follow-up with the carriers is provided as necessary. The dealership
is advised of any delays or issues regarding the installation.
What to expect…
· If the quote request was submitted via the web, the Dealer is contacted within one business day by a dealer consultant for needs assessment.
· The quotes for Internet service are delivered to the dealerships within two business days of submitting a quote request.
· To gain the full benefit of the Internet service, Project Choice also provides
Local Area Network (LAN) solutions that meet Ford dealership infrastructure guidelines utilizing
Ford approved LAN Integrators. The Project Choice dealer consultant will be able to provide
more information.
