Why Every Dealer Should Use Project Choice!

We offer options even if you're already connected. Even if your dealership already has High-Speed Internet Service, we encourage you to call us to explore options for the integration of new technology or future technology.

We provide you with Choices. That's the name of the game – comprehensive and competitive solutions that are presented in an easy to understand format. Flexible options for Internet speed, technologies, carries and cost. Solutions offered with your budget in mind.

Many services are offered at no charge. It costs nothing to benefit from the professional consulting, research services and free listing of which High-Speed Internet Access services are in your area. Who knows, you may be surprised at the new options that may be available!

We can lower your costs. We deal with hundreds of Internet service suppliers and all of the Ford-approved LAN Integrators. Every request for these services is submitted to multiple suppliers that are competing for your business.

We can ease your burden. We provide a single source for consulting, quoting, provisioning and fulfillment while managing and monitoring all service vendors. It all adds up to convenience and cost savings for you.

We ensure that all services meet both Ford recommendations and Olympus Guidelines. You don't have to worry about whether or not your investment meets the industry standards established by the Olympus Guidelines, or that your service will operate with Ford applications.

We grow with you. Your Internet needs may change tomorrow but we will be with you every step of the way, offering the consulting and services you need. More importantly, Project Choice will keep you current with future Ford applications and recommendations as they become available.

We provide a wide range of services. Besides HSIA and LAN integration, we can also address your need for Wide Area Network services. Other services are available that can meet the needs of any size dealership, no matter how large or small. Call one of our professionals for a complete discussion of some of the more custom services we provide.

Guidelines

Dear Ford, Lincoln or Mercury Dealer,

As you are currently evaluating different Internet Service Providers (ISP) for your dealership in an attempt to select the best fit, FORDSTAR NG Project Choice would like to provide some general guidelines that may be useful for you in your decision process. These guidelines can be found in more detail in the Olympus or Computer Network Guidelines.

We recommend that you make your selection from a list of Tier 1 and 2 providers who will generally provide a higher percentage of network availability. The most common reason for choosing a Tier 3 or other provider is lower cost. You should be aware that there are potential risks for making cost the sole basis for your decision. For example, these providers may have the following weaknesses:
    · Greater potential that they may not be in business in the future
    · Lack of written service level agreements
    · Lack of Internet connection redundancy
    · Limited information and experience available on these suppliers

If you feel that one of these suppliers has the best solution, here are some questions you might want to consider asking:
    · What are the minimum guaranteed minimum up and down speeds?
    · What service level agreements (SLA) are offered?
    · Will my bill be adjusted for all outages?
    · Do you offer static IP addresses? (Required by some applications)
    · What are your support hours?
    · What is the guaranteed response time to outages?
    · What is the contract length?
    · What are the one time charges?
    · Is this a business grade service? (For example, ADSL is considered a residential grade service)

If you have any questions, one option that is available to you is to call SPX, a supplier teamed up with FORDSTAR to supply you options, at 866-765-5582. They will provide information and options from a variety of Tier 1 and Tier 2 High Speed Internet Service Providers available for your particular location.
